Rocky Mountain Rabbis & Cantors
The RMRC is a multi-denominational agency serving Colorado rabbis and cantors from the various branches of Judaism. It is supported by an Executive Director and executive committee- the VAAD and serves its members' spiritual, intellectual, and professional needs.
The RMRC monthly meetings provide an opportunity for our members to share Jewish knowledge and insight, to have study opportunities, and to have a forum to discuss public response to pressing current events and community and synagogue issues. The RMRC also provides a forum where representatives from local and national agencies can brief clergy on pertinent issues.
Two of our most important initiatives are the Intro to Judaism program and the Board of Peers (BOP) - a think tank composed of agency directors, rabbis, and cantors, from most Jewish agencies and synagogues in Colorado.
