The 28-week introduction to judaism program is held on Thursday evenings, three sessions throughout the year – in the fall, in the winter, and in the summer. This affords the students the opportunity to easily make up classes if a student misses one. Each year a different synagogue hosts the program. Contact the ITJ office for specific dates and locations. Each class is two hours long, with a short break.
Students are encouraged to take turns providing kosher snacks for the class. In order to receive a “Certificate of Completion” that is needed for most Denver conversion requirements, students much attend at least 25 of the 28 classes during the program.
