The Colorado Community Beit Din (CCBD) is made up of clergy members of the Rocky Mountain Rabbis and Cantors. Their role is to serve on the batei din (court) for our conversion candidates. For every candidate that is scheduled for conversion, they will sit before three clergy persons before immersing in the mikvah for a series of questions and affirmations.
While our conversion candidates all receive approval for conversion through their clergy sponsor, the CCBD affirms that the candidate is willingly joining and committing themselves to the Jewish people.
The CCBD is managed by the executive director for the Rocky Mountain Rabbis and Cantors.
